Privacy policy

Version 2026-11-08

Draft for the beta. It describes how the app actually works today and will be reviewed by a privacy lawyer before public release.

Who we are

Feelings Reel is made by Forum Labs, Inc. (“we”). We are responsible for the data described here. Contact: feedback@feelingsreel.com.

What we store

We do not collect location, contacts, photos, advertising identifiers or analytics. The app contains no ads and no third-party tracking. If you send us feedback by email, we receive your email address and what you write.

Why

Only to run the app: to sign you in and to show your family's check-ins on the phones you add to your family. We process family members' feelings data on the basis of your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by deleting your account or family.

Who can see it

Only logins in your family. Nobody else, including other families, can read it. Our staff do not look at family data except when needed to fix a problem you report.

Where it is stored

In a database run by Supabase in the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany). Our web pages and the account-deletion service run on Vercel. Sign in with Apple is provided by Apple. These companies process data on our behalf.

How long

Until you delete it. When you delete a check-in, a family member, your family or your account, it disappears from every phone, and the deleted records are permanently removed from our database within 30 days.

Your rights

You can see and correct your family's data in the app, delete it at any time (Settings → Delete family / Delete account), and ask us for a copy or for help at feedback@feelingsreel.com. You can also complain to your data protection authority.

Children

Feelings Reel is used by parents together with their children. A parent or legal guardian creates the account and adds children as profiles without logins. If you believe a child's data was added without a guardian's consent, write to us and we will delete it.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that affects your data, the app will ask for your consent again.
